Photo Capture
Photo Capture
The Sniper Action Photo supports a variety of photo capture options depending
on the location.
Automated Camera
- DSLRs are permanently mounted in a weather-proof housing
- Our proprietary motion capture system triggers the camera and captures a
photo of the guest at exactly the right moment
- Flash can be used to provide consistent lighting and/or freeze action
Manually Triggered Camera
- Used for portraits or other situations to involve the guides and guests
in the photo capture experience
- Multiple trigger locations can be permanently mounted in a weather-proof housing
Photographer
- Our system can also be used in conjunction with a professional photographer capturing
the images.
- The photographer situations themselves at ideal locations and connects to the system wirelessly
or via a cable
- If using RFID, the RFID tag of the guest is read at the same time and embedded into the image file
In all cases, Photos are automatically transferred to the kiosk or uploaded to a retail website
for purchase.
RFID
RFID Matching
Guests can be matched to their photos using RFID tags encoded with a unique number that
are read by RFID antennas placed at photo locations. RFID tags can either be disposable or
permanently attached to equipment that is issued to each guest, such as a
helmet or harness.
Permanently Attached RFID Tags:
At the end of the tour the guest touches their tag to a small RFID reader placed
in the retail area, or enters their unique number, and their photos are
displayed ready for purchase. All previous photos will be deleted before the
guest views their photos.
Disposable RFID Tags:
Disposable tags are issued to guests where photos are sold online. The guest
follows instructions on the tag to view photos either by entering their tag
number into a website search window or scanning the tags QR code which links
the guest directly to their set of photos.
